This report aims to improve understanding of the number and nature of complaints to the HCPC about paramedics and social workers in England, and to consider what actions might help prevent complaints in these professions.

Since January 2025 the partner team received 870 applications and recruited 117 new partners across the three regulatory functions - Education, Registration and Fitness to practise. A very warm welcome to all our new partners!

Monday 3 March marks the start of the HCPC's first ever CPD Week. We will be showcasing resources, sharing good practice and publishing materials designed to support registrants with their CPD.
