Since 2019, Christine has been Chair of the Health and Care Professions Council and hs served as a Non-Executive Director at the Independent Office for Police Conduct since 2021.

Her pro bono roles at present are as an Advisory Board Member at InChorus, a ‘speaking up’ technology platform, and mentoring the executive leadership of an humanitarian organisation in Ukraine with We Care Centres that offer services in communities throughout the country.

As an Executive Mentor at The ExCo Group, She works closely with senior leaders to drive professional growth and development. She is also Chair at Wellbeing at Work World, a global organisation helping businesses embed wellbeing as a core strategic priority.

Christine is passionate about identifying technologies that make meaningful contributions to organisational effectiveness, leading the strategic integration of AI into operational practice and ensuring its adoption is responsible and purposeful.

Previously, she was appointed by the Home Secretary as the first independent director and Interim Chair of the College of Policing to support development of frameworks to enhance professional capabilities.

Her first major transformation was turning Bletchley Park from a dilapidated site facing demolition into an internationally renowned heritage attraction and museum, including a technology incubator. She wrote a book about the theft of a famous Enigma machine and its history.

To relax, she learns languages, plays music, has a vegetable garden and seeks out new experiences. She has travelled quite widely, especially in Asia.
