Promoting your registration
We have devised a number of resources to support you in promoting your registration.
We have updated this section of our website to reflect our forthcoming change of name to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) on Wednesday 1 August 2012.
Free public information posters and leaflets
These posters and leaflets can be displayed in waiting rooms and public areas. They explain the importance of using a registered health and care professional and include a list of the professions regulated us.
The HCPC registration logo
Registrants can display the HCPC registration logo as a clear sign that they meet our standards. It provides reassurance and differentiates you from non-regulated health and care professionals.
Certificate and registration card
Display your registration certificate prominently in your workplace and carry your registration card so you can show it if requested.
How to describe your registration
When describing your registration status in words, the correct terminology to use is ‘HCPC registered’. State registration of health and care professionals no longer exists and you should avoid using the expression ‘state registered’.
