This work was commissioned from Kingston and St Georges, University of London. It aimed to identify existing approaches and types of service user involvement across education programmes, identify the components of best practice and explored the benefits and challenges of service user involvement in education and training. A number of options were identified by the research team, with a focus on avoiding tokenistic involvement.
