Public Protection Research

We are currently undertaking a piece of research to explore understanding of the concept of public protection including what it is felt the public need to be protected from and what information about registrants is relevant to us in making decisions about fitness to practise.

This forms part of an ongoing programme of work that we have undertaken to improve and develop our fitness to practise processes. It follows previous research we commissioned on expectations of our fitness to practise process.

We have engaged Picker Institute Europe to undertake this research for us. A key part of that research is an online survey.

If you would like to complete the survey it can be found at http://tinyurl.com/HCPCsurvey.

The survey closes on 19 December 2012
