Listening Event - Lancaster12/07/2007 - 14:00 The Royal King's Arms Hotel, Market Street, LA1 1HP, Lancaster Two identical meetings held at 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Listening Events The HPC run Listening Events all across the UK, giving registrants the opportunity to see and hear first hand how we are progressing, and to give feedback on how we can improve. Attending a Listening Event offers the opportunity to speak directly with the HPC and to meet and discuss registration with local registrants from your own and other professions.
The events consist of two identical sessions of 1½ to 2 hours and are held at 2pm and again at 6pm to assist you in fitting attendance around your work commitments. Each session starts with a presentation looking at the background of the HPC, its current work and the latest developments in registration. The remainder of the session is left open for registrants to put their questions, comments and any feedback to either the Chief Executive or President of the HPC and a panel of HPC Council members.
The Lancaster meetings were very productive with questions and discussion including the regulation of teams, CPD, and the Grandparenting process. Summaries of the question and answer sessions will be posted below as soon as they are available. Region: England - North West Category: Listening Event
