Case study appeal
We are currently looking for case studies to help out with a UK wide media campaign to promote the importance of choosing a regulated health professional, please see below for details:
HPC and the British Dietetic Association (BDA) launch joint case study appeal'
The BDA and the Health Professions Council (HPC) are working together to raise the awareness of the protected title 'dietitian'. If you use the title 'dietitian' you must be registered with the HPC. To help with our media and PR work we are looking for newsworthy case studies to highlight the work of dietitians across the UK. We would like to hear from registered dietitians who have a story to tell that would help highlight their work. For example, we want to hear from you if you have treated a patient who has come from an unregulated professional following inadequate treatment - or if you are pioneering work in areas such as mental health, autism, IBS, eating disorders and allergies.
If you or a dietitian colleague are willing to help, please email your name, a brief summary of your experience, and your contact details to pr@bda.co.uk
Been treated by an unregulated health professional?
We are also looking for registrants who have treated someone who has come from an unregulated professional following less than adequate treatment. We would also like to hear from members of the public who would like to share their stories about health professionals (good or bad) to help raise the profile of HPC and registered professionals.
If you or anyone you know might be willing to help, please email your name, profession (if applicable), a brief summary of your experience and your contact details to: casestudies@hpc-uk.org.
We look forward to hearing from you.
