Radio adverts Three adverts were played on Classic FM from June 13th for 4 weeks. 'Gorilla' and 'Heard the one' both run for 30 seconds and warn people to check that their health professional is registered. Classic FM is UK wide and attracts over 6.5 million listeners per week.
London underground Entitled 'No Joke' HPC's advertising campaign ran simultaneously on London Underground trains and Classic FM with the focus being on the run up to the closure of the Register on July 9th.
Bus adverts We advertised on the back of buses in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Belfast, Leeds and Sheffield. The adverts encouraged members of the public to check their health professional is genuine and registered with us. The adverts ran until the 31st October 2005.
Regional campaign - Birmingham This campaign involved an intensive awareness campaign in the Birmingham area. The campaign ran throughout September and October 2006. It’s the first of a series of regional campaigns, aimed at increasing awareness amongst the general public and encouraging them to check if their health professional is registered.
