Social workers in England

This section contains historical information regarding the social worker transfer. As such, it contains out of date fee information.

The HCPC recently consulted on raising the fees it charges to both registrants and applicants. A summary of the consultation can be found by clicking here.

It has been agreed that the fees will rise and the new fees will be in place from 1 April 2014. For more information, please view our dedicated FAQ section by clicking here.

We have since removed social workers in England who have not renewed from the Register.

We have sent readmission forms to all those who failed to renew. If a social worker returns a completed readmission form by Friday 1 February 2013, we will put them back on the Register provided they have paid their registration fee.
