Mr Graham Towl

Graham Towl-main

Graham Towl is a Professor of Forensic Psychology and widely published in the forensic field.

Previously he was the Chief Psychologist at the Ministry of Justice and Home Office. He is widely published in the forensic field and the recipient of the British Psychological Society's Award for Distinguished Contributions to Professional Practice. He was Editor of Evidence Based Mental Health and the founding editor of The International Journal of Leadership in Public Services and the British Journal of Forensic Practice. His specialist research and professional interests are in the areas of risk assessment, the evaluation of interventions, ethics and prisoner suicide.

Durham University staff member. Occasional consultancy work on forensic psychology and also Higher Education.
