Consultation on removing the health reference as a requirement for entry to the Register04/01/2010 - 09/04/2010 This consultation has now closed. You can download the consultation document and a copy of the consultation response analysis document below.
We are consulting on removing the requirement to provide a health reference completed by a doctor for those applying to join the Register.
The consultation proposes that the health reference should be replaced with a self-declaration to confirm that the applicant does not have a health condition that would affect the safe and effective practice of their profession.
