Service standards


Registration Department service standards
As an organisation, our aim is to provide the best customer service we can for all our registrants; that is why we have these service standards.

Our aims are as follows.

  • UK applications: Process within ten working days of receipt.
  • Readmission forms: Process within ten working days of receipt.
  • International / EEA applications: Complete an initial assessment within 16 weeks of receipt of application.
  • Grandparenting applications: Complete an initial assessment within 16 weeks of receipt of application.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) audits: Process within three months of receipt of all documents.
  • Registration renewal forms and final renewal forms: Process within ten working days of receipt of paper form, process within five minutes when using the online renewal system.
  • Written complaints: Confirmation of receipt within three working days and reply within 15 working days.
  • Emails: Reply within 48 hours.
  • Telephone call answering: 80 per cent of calls answered within 30 seconds.
  • Postal correspondence: Process within ten working days of receipt.
