Certificates

This page contains information about the certificates that we issue to registrants

We give every registrant a certificate, which they may display at their practice. The certificate shows information which includes their name, and their registration number.

The certificate will not tell you if any orders have been made against that registrant since their certificate was printed (for example, if they have been cautioned, or have conditions put on their practice). The register does display these orders, which is why checking it is so important.

If your health professional does not display a certificate, you can always ask to see it, or ask for a professional’s registration number. Registered professionals will be happy to give you this information.
