New professions process

We currently regulate 13 professions . However, the Health Professions Order allows us to regulate other professions in the future.

In this section of the website, you can read information about our 'new professions' processes.

You can read about the criteria that the Council have decided will be used to judge applications, you can read about the application process , what happens next , and you can download the forms . You can also see which professions have already applied to the Council to be regulated, and read the minutes from the Council meeting when their application was considered.

If you would like to contact us about the new professions process, please email policy@hpc-uk.org or call 020 7840 9815
