Register of approved courses - Chiropodists / podiatrists

The Register of Programmes, Qualifications, Institutions and Tests of Competence and of Knowledge of English approved under the Health Professions Order, 2001

All of the approved programmes below provide eligibility to obtain the local anesthetic (LA) and prescription only medicine (POM) entitlements. Click here to read more about the medicines and prescribing rights of the professionals that we register.

Historical qualifications

If you hold a qualification which is more than five years old and you have not been registered before, we call this an ‘historical qualification’. If you hold an historical qualification and you have not been practising elsewhere (or if you have not practised in the last two years) you will need to meet our returners to practise requirements before you can become registered. You can find out about our requirements by clicking here
